Joanne Ort is a forward-thinking Certified Public Accountant with expertise providing financial advice, accounting, payroll and tax planning services to creative clients in the film and entertainment industry. Joanne’s credits include feature films Ira Finkelstein’s Christmas, and Sold, and the documentary Console Wars as well as the Washington Filmworks Innovation lab project Strowlers. Born and raised in the Seattle area, Joanne received her Master’s degree in Accounting and her BA in Business Administration from the University of Washington. She is a member of the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants, has over 20 years experience providing business consulting, accounting, and tax services to closely held businesses and individuals. She is pleased to be on board of Women in Film Seattle with a group of incredibly talented and inspiring women.

Valerie Moseley runs VMCPA, an accounting consulting practice focused on helping businesses and owners gain mastery over their numbers. She is a CPA licensed with the Washington State Board of Accountancy, a member of the WSCPA, NATP, and the AFWA where she is active in the Seattle chapter's tax roundtable. Known for her clear explanations and friendly approach, Valerie has taught lay people and accountants topics ranging from financial literacy and business tax fundamentals, to partnership tax law and professional practice management. Valerie has a background in the performing arts and is a former Treasurer on the board of arts organizations.
